What businesses come to us for

Different problems need different types of capital. Telling us the problem is more useful than telling us the product.

Working capital

Payroll, suppliers and operating costs while receivables catch up.

Inventory

Buying stock ahead of a season, a launch or a supplier price change.

Equipment

Vehicles, machinery, technology and fit-outs, financed against the asset.

Contract & purchase-order financing

You won the work; you need capital to deliver it before you get paid.

Cash-flow gaps & seasonality

Bridging predictable slow periods or lumpy customer payments.

Expansion

A second location, new hires or a new line that needs capital before it produces revenue.

How it works

We are not a lender and we are not an online loan marketplace that sells your information. We review your requirement, identify which capital channels fit, and introduce you to the appropriate provider or professional. Any financing is arranged directly between you and that provider.

Introduction & support

We introduce you to the appropriate capital provider and help you present the request properly.

Capital channels we work with

Common questions

Are you a lender?

No. AAN Business Funding reviews your requirement, identifies which capital channels fit, and introduces you to the appropriate provider or licensed professional. The financing agreement is between your business and that provider.

How fast can I get an answer?

We usually respond with a first assessment within one business day. Funding timelines depend on the channel: some alternative and equipment providers fund in days; bank and government-program facilities take weeks.

Does this affect my credit?

Not at this stage. We do not run credit inquiries. A capital provider will only do so once you decide to proceed with them.

My business is under a year old. Can you help?

Sometimes. Start-ups, franchises and new locations usually need a different path (for example a Canada Small Business Financing Program facility with a proper business plan). Tell us about it in the form and we will say plainly whether there is a realistic route.

What if part of the financing is secured by property?

Mortgage financing in Ontario must be arranged by a licensed mortgage professional. If your requirement involves real estate, we introduce you to a licensed brokerage and support the business side of the transaction.

What does it cost?

There is no fee to have your options reviewed. If a capital provider pays us an introduction fee, it does not change the terms you receive, and we tell you. Any separate advisory work is quoted in writing before it starts.
